Alexander Nikolas Walzer is a Vienna-native (half Greek) architect and researcher with a strong interest in Digital Fabrication, Rapid Prototyping and Computational Design. He was educated in Austria, Italy, Spain and Australia where he studied under Theodore Spyropoulos, Francois Roche, Neil Gershenfield, Matias del Campo and Roland Snooks. He gained work experience at the Fab Lab Barcelona and Kokkugia Melbourne and holds a Bachelor Degree from the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Moreover, he has participated in several courses, workshops, conferences and artist residencies. Since January 2016 he pursues an internship at the Chair of Architecture and Digital Fabrication (Prof. F. Gramazio, Prof. M. Kohler) and the National Competence Centre in Research (NCCR) Digital Fabrication at ETH Zurich, working on the research project "Mesh Mould".
