COMPAS cadwork, 2023-2024
Software development project
COMPAS cadwork is an open-source Python package that integrates the power of the COMPAS framework directly into cadwork 3d. It provides access to COMPAS’s extensive geometry kernel, data structures, and algorithms, allowing you to create, manipulate, and analyze COMPAS models in cadwork 3d. By leveraging this integration, you can also benefit from the broader COMPAS ecosystem, which offers a wide range of specialized tools and libraries tailored to the AEC industry.

The library supports creating native cadwork 3d objects such as beams, plates, and connections. Additionally, it enables reading and writing of COMPAS models, facilitating seamless data exchange with various other CAD environments.
