Luis Berka has been pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at ETH Zurich since 2023. With over eight years of experience in CAD-based design and more than five years in additive manufacturing, he has a deep understanding of the dialogue between digital conception and physical realization. His Matura thesis investigated material-oriented approaches to 3D printing, exploring the potential of diverse fabrication materials.
Enriched by over a year of practical experience in construction execution, he bridges traditional craftsmanship and emerging technologies. As a student teaching assistant at Gramazio Kohler Research, he contributes to the teaching of computational design, supporting students in parametric modelling. |
